Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards 2024
The finalists of the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards 2024 have been announced!
From thousands of entries, a jury of photographers and wildlife professionals selected forty final photos, which will be on display at Natuurmuseum Brabant. In addition, there are four portfolios: four series, each consisting of four photos.
Below, you can catch a glimpse of a few, but they look even more stunning in real life. Yet another reason to come and see them in person!
The Nikon Comedy Wildlife exhibition will be open from November 15 until mid-May 2025.
Vote for your favorite!
The jury will select an overall winner, but a public favorite will also be chosen. You can vote for your favorite until November 14 on the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards website!
‘Conservation through competition’
In 2015, wildlife photographers Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson-Hicks started the competition as a fun way to raise awareness for wildlife conservation—through humor. And they succeeded! The photos will, at the very least, make you smile, which is exactly their strength. The competition, open to both amateurs and professionals, grows more popular each year—a great sign for wildlife conservation.
Photos for sale
The finalists' photos are available for purchase. Proceeds from the competition help raise funds for the Whitley Fund for Nature, which has already invested over £20 million in conservation projects across 80 countries. Once the exhibition opens, you can secure your favorite photo at the museum! You’ll be able to take your purchased photo(s) home once the exhibition ends (mid-May '25).
